News in brief
Now Pharmacy gets EPS approval

Online pharmacy service Now Pharmacy has been approved to handle NHS prescriptions via the electronic prescription service.

The pharmacy already dispenses private prescriptions via the Dr Now app, which gives access to UK-registered doctors through video-based consultation and delivers prescriptions nationwide.

The new approval means patients that nominate Now Pharmacy as their chosen pharmacist with their GP practice can have prescriptions delivered to their home or office free of charge.

Registered patients are prompted by text, email or phone when their prescription is due.
