New learning tool launched by OCB Media

A new e-learning tool has been launched to give healthcare organisations the flexibility to develop their own programmes for in-house training. OCB Media, which already supplies well-known e-learning materials such as 'Spotting the Sick Child', 'Safe Prescriber' (SCRIPT) and the 'National Early Warning Scorecard' (NEWS), has developed the NimbleMed product to enable organisations to create their own online programmes, focused on their own circumstances and requirements.

BT Compute for Health launched

BT has announced a new, secure, managed hosting service for the healthcare market, called BT Compute for Health. The company says the service can support applications that range from electronic patient records to SharePoint installations. All the information will be hosted by BT in a dual-sited, secure UK datacentre and delivered via N3, the NHS' secure network. As such, it can be used for applications that contain patient identifiable data.
