Theriak ePrescribing system from CIS Healthcare

Theriak is a best of breed ePrescribing system with an integrated medicines management approach.

Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust and University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust are the first UK NHS trusts to implement Theriak. They are expected to go-live in September 2011.

Both trusts are experienced ChemoCare users and will benefit from the interface between ChemoCare and Theriak, which allows all medications to be viewed in both systems and assists the management of drug interactions, contraindications and allergies.

Theriak has a range of innovative features, including a control mechanism known as DAX (Drug Advice eXpert). DAX provides a graphic representation of patients' interactions, replacing multiple pages of written text, providing users with the key information they need for medication decisions.
