The Single Patient Record (SPR), backed in part by a record £10 billion funding, is a key programme of the 10 Year Plan.  The hope is that it will provide the platform that will enable integrated patient-centred care, and be tightly integrated into the NHS App.
NHS digital leaders debated on demystifying what the SPR is, identified likely challenges for delivery, discussed how to build on existing foundations and lessons and what needs to happen next.
The panel will explored topics including:
    • Steps to SPR and building on existing foundations
    • How the SPR will integrate with the Federated Data Platform
    • Access: how to make the SPR available via the NHS App
    • Interoperability with existing EPRs and Shared Care Records
    • How SPR could underpin shift to community care
    • Data security, privacy and patient consent.
