Following his time in the Royal Navy as a Marine Engineer David took the decision on leaving the Service to move into the world of Business development. Having spent eight years working in very technically focused Business Growth Roles, David moved into the IT industry in 1999. David has spent 18 years working with all parts of the Health and Care Sector from Central Government Departments all the way through the Sector to the delivery of frontline Patient centric solutions always. David’s passion is to enhance the delivery of patient care, which is why he was a natural choice to lead this exciting role for UKCloud Health.

As part of my extended role as CIO of Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS foundation trust I have led and delivered one of the biggest digital transformation projects the Trust will ever experience. The deployment of an EPR across all the aspects of patient care for the Trust also involving a partner Trust in Bradford.
