This Digital Pharmacy Network aims to build an inclusive and strategic community of digital pharmacy professionals driving digital transformation across health and care. Following an initial roundtable at the Clinical Pharmacy Congress, we are now bringing together individuals across the NHS to shape the future direction of this growing community.
Activity for this community began in 2021 with the election of the first pharmacist onto the Digital Health Networks CCIO Advisory Panel which was an important milestone in raising the profile of digital pharmacy leadership. Since then, a small but committed group of digital pharmacy leaders, supported by wider community efforts, has helped to open up new opportunities for pharmacy voices to be heard. This includes securing representation at key events such as Rewired and Summer Schools, and increasing involvement in wider Digital Health Networks activities and advisory panels.
In this virtual session, we will share the background and evolution of the community, outline the proposed purpose of the network, highlight early priorities, and open the discussion for your insights and ideas.
