How do midwives deliver safer, more personalised maternity care as part of the most ambitious NHS plan in a generation?

Supporting approximately 500,000 deliveries each year, midwives in England are the digital enablers for start-of-life care. The 10 Year Health Plan bets big on community and digitisation as core shifts in the NHS strategy. As primary users of electronic maternity records, remote monitoring, telehealth and other digital tools, midwives will play an increasingly vital role in modernisation.

Midwifery leaders from across the Digital Health Networks joined us to discuss the impact of the 10YP digital ambitions on the midwifery workforce and patient journeys.
