The aspiration to become the most digitally advanced hospital in England may sound ambitious to some, but Kettering General Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is on track to achieving it. At the heart of their extensive digitisation programme lies the care coordination platform – CareFlow Connect. All doctors, nurses and care professionals at the Trust are using this mobile technology to coordinate care and support key team-based clinical workflows including text and picture messaging, list management, handovers, task management, alert notifications and referrals. It has played a key role during the pandemic in improving patient safety and care and keeping staff safe.
Join us in this webinar, where Dione Rogers, CNIO and Dr Solange Serna, Deputy CCIO of Kettering General Hospital will share their experience of deploying CareFlow Connect during the pandemic. They will discuss:
- The beginning of the journey – objectives and challenges
- Preparation as a priority – planning, engagement, adoption and training
- Leading the way nationally – e-handovers, e-referrals and clinically optimised workflows
- Plans for cross-organisational communication and workflows
- Key milestones, use cases and benefits
