Nigel Hauxwell, County Durham and Darlington NHS FT

Nigel is currently the Server Manager at County Durham and Darlington Foundation NHS Trust delivering expertise within the datacentre and IT Operations environment, having over 25yrs “IT” experience going back to Windows NT 4!

Passionate and proud to work for the NHS for over 21yrs, covering desktop field engineer and server specialist roles prior to achieving the current role of server manager, managing a small team of equally passionate and experienced server specialists covering who cover the 3rd line role.

Expertise in Project Management, Problem Resolution, Datacentre, Virtualisation, Storage, Data Protection, Cybersecurity, Resilience, Automation, Security, ITIL and Prince2 alongside advanced design, implementation and management skills with Microsoft, Cisco, Dell, VMWare and Citrix solutions together with being an active Health and Wellbeing Champion promoting a safe and strong environment for colleagues and peers.

Outside interests are generally most sports, particularly mountain biking, running and swimming while not forgetting my faithful dog Finn who arrived from Romania as a very timid and aggressive rescue dog, but has turned into a dog that would actively welcome a burglar into the home and is a huge part of family life.

Aimie Coole, Data Protection Officer, Dell Technologies

Aimie brings 18 years of experience in the Tech Industry and 8 years specialising in Data Protection.  Since Joining Dell Technologies in April 2020 Aimie has established a track record in technical pre-sales, working across different sectors representing DPS in the UK.  Aimie previously worked in the channel for numerous managed service providers giving her a breadth of experience in all things Data Protection and much more.  From working in the field this has given Aimie hands on experience working with multiple vendors including Veeam, Veritas, Dell, EMC, F5, Commvault, VMware, Microsoft, AWS, Citrix, Cisco.  This is why Aimie is well placed in the EMEA GTO team with her technical knowledge and skillset she has the ability to clearly communicate technical solutions at all levels.

In her free time, Aimie enjoys any outdoor activities kayaking, cycling, paddleboarding, hiking and travelling the world. Overall, Aimie is driven and self-motivated, confident, and passionate about success.

Gary McIntosh, Field CTO, Global Technology Office, Dell

Gary Mcintosh is a Field CTO within the Global Technology Office (GTO) at Dell Technologies. Based in Manchester, England, Gary works with customers to help develop cyber security approaches and solutions. With a distinctive set of technical and business skills, Gary is skilled in helping customers navigate the word of cyber threats and the latest security practices to protect their applications and data in an increasingly distributed world. His skills as a technologist enables him to develop technical strategies and solutions from across the Dell Technologies to protect organisations from threats, ensure business continuity, maintain innovation, while governing compliance and industry regulations. This covers data security across on-premises, public cloud and Edge environments.

To create business value and restore confidence with businesses who have suffered breaches, Gary works with customer from the planning and design phase through to the implementation of often complex cyber solutions. Serving as a trusted advisor, Gary provides and open and transparent approach with customers, working to identify gaps in their attack anatomy, understanding their perceived gaps, and pinpointing what could be likely security breach scenarios. From joining all these dots and listening to the customer, only then does Gary present a strategy.
