As Digital Health Intelligence launches a significant piece of research on technology-enabled mobile working in healthcare, this webinar brings together an expert panel to discuss the findings.

“Upwardly mobile: the rise of mobile working in healthcare – exploring the benefits, the barriers and the opportunities”, a white paper produced in association with Samsung, draws on in-depth interviews with CIOs and CCIOs as well as a survey of a cross-section of health IT leaders. It will be published to coincide with the webinar, which offers an opportunity to hear from report editors and contributors on how mobile working is already making a difference in healthcare, what is stopping further progress, and how those obstacles might be overcome.

Topics such as security, device management, culture change and perception of mobile working in healthcare will be high on the agenda – with speakers offering actionable insight on how to overcome these sort of complex challenges and introduce more mobile ways of working in the NHS.

Presenters:
Claire Read, contributing editor, Digital Health
Gregg Hardie, head of public sector, Samsung
Professor Joe McDonald, chief clinical information officer, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust and chair, CCIO Network
