Digital Health has launched a new podcast to bring you some of the biggest stories and themes in technology and digital transformation across the NHS.

The first podcast took place at Digital Health Summer Schools in Leeds on 18-19 July, in the form of a panel discussion.

Members included:

  • Lisa Emery: CIO at Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust and chair of the London CIO Council
  • Shauna McMahon: Partner – Digital Transformation Consulting and NHS South, Central and West Commissioning Support Unit
  • James Reed: CCIO at Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health Trust and the newly elected chair of the Digital Health CCIO network
  • Marcus Baw: GP, software developer and Digital Health Hack Day host

Key themes included the highlights of Summer Schools, the launch of the Shuri Network – the first NHS network for BME women in digital health, and the importance of networking and sharing ideas among colleagues.
