Voting has opened for members of the Digital Health Networks to decide the members of the advisory panels for the 2025-2027 term.

The advisory panels are groups of digital health leaders who work collaboratively to shape the future of digital health leadership, represent their peers on national platforms, and drive innovation and improvement across the NHS.

There will be 12 members of the chief clinical information officer (CCIO), clinical information officer (CIO) and chief nursing information officer (CNIO) Network Advisory Panels elected.

The elected advisory panel members set the priorities and direction for the CCIO/CIO/CNIO Networks and elect the CCIO/CIO/CNIO chair and vice chair to represent the network nationally.

The list of full candidates, including their bios and manifestos, can be found here:

Lauren Hoodless, head of networks at Digital Health, said: ““Voting in the 2025–2027 Digital Health Networks elections is your opportunity to support the digital leaders who will represent your voice and help shape national direction across the NHS.

“Explore the manifestos, be inspired, and cast your vote to help lead the next chapter of our digital health journey.”

Networks members can find out more about the candidates during the online hustings taking place in May 2025.

Each candidate will have 60 seconds to give a speech introducing themselves and explaining why they want to be part of the panel.

There will also be the opportunity for Network members to ask questions.

“It has allowed me to collaborate with inspiring peers and industry leaders, advising on the impact of policy change and championing digital transformation across the NHS.

“From mentoring future CIOs, clinical safety officers, and chief analytical officers to working with One HealthTech to support women in digital leadership roles, I have seen firsthand the power of diverse voices in shaping the future of healthcare technology.

“The panel has provided a unique platform to influence national and regional strategies, enhance our digital, data and technology workforce capabilities, and ultimately improve patient care through smarter, data-driven solutions.”
