Digital Health Unplugged: November news team debrief

The latest Digital Health Unplugged is now live – this time with a new look format!

Going forward we will be inviting members of our Digital Health Advisory Panel to take part in our news team debriefs, bringing with them a wealth of knowledge and experience.

Our Advisory Panel is made up of elected members from our Digital Health Networks, a community of digital health leaders dedicated to collaboration and sharing best practice.

In our latest news team debrief our editorial team – host Andrea Downey, editor Hannah Crouch and editor-in-chief Jon Hoeksma – are joined by two Chief Clinical Information Officer (CCIO) Advisory Panel stalwarts Professor Joe McDonald and Dr Marcus Baw.

Both spoke of how the Digital Health Networks and Advisory Panel have been a place of friendship and fun as well as a place to collaborate with colleagues in the sector.

The podcast panel also take a look at whether digitisation of the NHS will ever be complete – and the ever moving targets for digital services within the health service.

Looking at the targets set out in the Long Term Plan, published in January 2019, the panel discuss whether the targets are on track to be achieved and what needs to happen in order for them to be achieved.

Plus there were plenty of laughs to be had, and a call for funding with a twist from one of our Advisory Panel members… but you’ll have to tune in to find out more.
