IMS MAXIMS offers IT finance for trusts

Software supplier IMS MAXIMS and Total Asset Finance have combined their operations under a new holding company, Daresbury Services Group. The companies will continue to trade independently, but the £9m investment by DSG will them to offer a range of financing options to trusts wishing to use IMS MAXIMS’ software. Shane Tickell, chief executive of IMS MAXIMS, said: “Being part of the enlarged group will allow IMS MAXIMS to offer finance to new or existing customers. This deal transforms our balance sheet, and leaves us well placed to move forward just at the time when the NHS market is again making independent buying decisions.”

Simpl and Courtyard Group unveil partnership

A partnership has been announced between Simpl and Courtyard Group. Courtyard Group will deliver its range of consultancy services to healthcare organisations and Simpl will underpin its recommendations with advisory and integration services for solutions such as Enterprise Resource Planning and Business Intelligence. “Our partnership will be particularly relevant to commissioners within primary care trusts, who rely on accurate information to make informed, proactive decisions in line with the QIPP agenda,” said Paul Malcolm, EMEA regional director, Simpl. “Equally, our partnership will support management at acute trusts, which require knowledge to help them decide where best value can be found when providing services.”

cScape and Metalogix Software extend partnership

cScape, a design and technical consultancy, and Metalogix Software, a provider of solutions for Microsoft SharePoint and Exchange migration, management and archiving, have announced an extension of their partnership, which was formed to support large-scale SharePoint deployments in the UK. The companies argue that SharePoint is becoming a key business platform.

COA Solutions forms partnership with Experian Payments

COA Solutions has announced a partnership with payment software provider Experian Payments to enable its financial management software customers within the public sector to link to Experian Payments’ bank account validation software, Bank Wizard. This checks the validity of payments data before it is submitted to Bacs, reducing errors and refused payments.

Motion appoints Camtech Systems as reseller

Motion Computing has appointed Camtech Systems as a UK partner for its range of rugged field and medical table PCs and accessories. Camtech Systems will provide pre-sales and sales support, after-sales services and training. Camtech Systems will sell Motion’s entire line of mobile solutions, comprising the rugged J3400 and F5 Tablet PCs and the C5 mobile clinical assistant (MCA).

NextiraOne partners with 2degrees

NextiraOne, a supplier of voice and data networks and unified communications solutions, has announced a UK partnership with 2degrees to sponsor its Greener Healthcare Network, which has been set up to drive forward low carbon ICT solutions in the healthcare sector. The network already has 250 professionals onboard and focuses on solving core challenges, such as energy and carbon reduction, clinical transformation, finance and governance, procurement, waste and transport.
