Ex-Kable MD joins E-Health Media board

  • 16 June 2010

Mark Hudson, former managing director of Kable Ltd, has joined the board of E-Health Media Ltd (EHM), publishers of E-Health Insider, the UK’s leading source of news on healthcare information technology.

Hudson will serve as a non-executive director of EHM and as a consultant to EHI Intelligence, a new subscription-based research service under development and due for launch in autumn 2010.

E-Health Media was founded by directors, Jon Hoeksma and Linda Davidson, in 2001 and has developed three web portals – E-Health Insider, EHI Primary Care and E-Health Europe – along with a thriving awards scheme and an annual conference and exhibition, E-Health Insider Live.

Hoeksma and Davidson commented: “We have known Mark for many years and he has been working with us as a consultant. His insight and experience in public sector technology markets has already had a very positive influence and we are looking forward to working with him more closely in the future.”

Hudson said: “I am very excited to be joining this dynamic and highly professional organisation, which is the clear leader in its chosen niche. It has great scope for growth, building on its strong reputation.”

Kable Ltd was sold to Guardian News & Media, a division of Guardian Media Group Plc, in 2007. The company is a leading provider of market intelligence, consultancy and research reports, events and magazines to the global information and communication technology (ICT) businesses operating in the public sector.
