The UK’s largest home healthcare provider, Healthcare at Home, has signed a deal with Clinical Solutions to use its IntefleCS Home Clinic.

The system will be used by community-based Healthcare at Home staff and those working in the Healthcare at Home bureau.

It will also allow connectivity between the provider and NHS IT platforms, including NHS Spine services and GP systems.

IntefleCS Home Clinic supports the registration and management of patients, assists with record-keeping and decision-making, and has a call centre and mobile client functionality.

Healthcare at Home chief executive Mike Gordon said the partnership with Clinical Solutions would enable it to extend its services across the UK.

“Working with Clinical Solutions enables us to continue transforming healthcare with pharmaceutical and clinical services that put patients and their families first.”

Clinical Solutions chief executive Xavier Flinois said the agreement was an opportunity to be further involved in the health industry.

“From a business perspective this agreement represents an expansion of the application of our technology into the wider health economy – for home based services, wellness and long-term condition management; informing, advising and empowering the patient.”

Healthcare at Home provides patients with care traditionally provided in hospitals, such as chemotherapy, paediatric care and emotional and clinical support by fully trained nursing staff.
