Driving down waiting lists have been a critical priority since Covid. Here we look at how the Isle of Wight have pulled all patients into a single ICS-wide Patient Tracking List (PTL) for fast identification of long-term waiters, potential breaches and resource bottlenecks. All staff can now view the same, fully validated PTL for targeted care management and fair, sustainable waiting list reduction. The accuracy of the data now ensures no patients are missed or dropped from the lists due to manual error and patients no longer requiring treatment are clearly identified.

Due to the success of the waiting list management project, this webinar also looks at how the Isle of Wight (IOW) are embarking upon a digital transformation journey to establish an integrated enterprise data platform. The IOW is a truly unique integrated trust being the single provider of a range of services including acute, ambulance, community, mental health and learning disability across the island.  The enterprise data platform will underpin these services by providing integrated, fully validated patient data, that delivers advanced analytics and insights, statutory reporting and self-service business intelligence. The aim of the trust is to become a data-led organisation.

    The webinar will cover:

    • The challenges of creating a fully validated, single PTL
    • The data errors uncovered
    • The benefits of accurate, fair waiting lists management
    • Why having all patient pathway data in one place brings powerful insight and better patient care
