Halkerston to lead BT Health
Judith Halkerston

Judith Halkerston is taking over as interim president of BT Health, following the departure of Huw Owen.

Owen left his position as president of BT Health this week to take up the role of chief executive officer of data centre company Ark Continuity.

A BT spokesman said Huw made a great contribution during his time at BT Health and leaves the business in a “strong position” to continue to grow and meet the needs of its healthcare customers.

Halkerston joined BT Global Services in 2010. Before joining the health team she was responsible for building BT’s business globally with system integrators and business process outsourcers.

Before that, she was UK managing director at Logica where she led a team of more than 1,000 people based in the UK and India

Ark specialises in the design, construction and operation of high integrity data centres. Owen described his move to Ark as, "a truly exciting opportunity.”
