The former managing director of ORCHA, Dr Lloyd Humphreys, has been appointed by Cogniss to launch a no-code digital health platform in the UK.

The clinical psychologist joins Cogniss as managing director, as the company relocates its global headquarters to the UK.

Cogniss has gained support from the Department of International Trade’s (DIT) Global Entrepreneurs Programme (GEP) in the UK and Investment NSW. This support will help drive its no-code revolution in digital health.

Dr Humphreys said: “I’ve been fortunate to help some of the most disruptive technologies and inspiring leaders to scale and become mainstream approaches to care.

“It is a real privilege to join the incredible team at Cogniss as they empower health systems to leverage their greatest asset – their people – to create the next generation of digital health apps for patient care quickly, easily and cost-effectively.”

Dr Humphreys was previously acknowledged as one of the Top 100 Health Tech influencers when he was working with Patients Know Best. While working with them he was also chosen to become an NHS Innovation Accelerator fellow.

Additionally, his time at ORCHA saw Dr Humphreys lead a sustained period of triple-digit growth. He also oversaw the first cohort of the Digital Academy complete their foundation training module.
