Harley Street Hair Clinic has launched the Hair Track app – a world first for people looking to monitor their hair loss over time.

Hair Track allows users to take photos of their hair from three different perspectives – front, top and sides – which are uploaded to a timeline. This allows them to scroll through a gallery to gain a holistic view of how their hair is changing over time.

It is the world’s first hair-tracking app. It also marks the first time that people in the UK can access free guidance and advice from world-leading hair loss surgeons at any time.

The Harley Street Hair Clinic not only allows people to track their hair over time, but it also allows them to share their images with the clinic’s team of highly experienced consultants. They can then gain their expert opinion about the best course of action for their situation.

The in-app function allows users to speak directly and discreetly with one of the Harley Street doctors to receive free tailored guidance and advice.

For patients of the clinic, they can log their hair growth success, manage aftercare plans with notifications and reminders, as well as ask follow-up questions to their doctor.

Nadeem Khan, CEO of Harley Street Hair Clinic, said: “Whilst not everyone will need a hair transplant immediately, we wanted to give people worried about hair loss the opportunity to track their hair journey and receive medical advice they can trust, which we are really excited to do with the launch of our app.

“For the first time now, no matter where you are in the UK, people can speak with one of our world-class doctors who are experts in hair loss, who can provide them with reassurance and guidance to best look after their hair.”

If someone uses the app to send photos of their hair to consultants, they will have the option to talk through the app, set up a video consultation or make an in-person consultation, to discuss the best course of treatment.

The app is available now on the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.
