The Access Group and Optum have been announced as the headline sponsors for Digital Health Rewired 2026.

Digital Health Rewired is the largest trade show connecting all parts of the UK health IT sector and digital health community. The event returns in 2026 with new stages, new show features and an expanded exhibition area.

The Access Group will also sponsor the Integrated Care Stage, which will explore how digital tools, the single patient record and integrated neighbourhood teams are connecting care across mental health, community primary care and beyond as part of the major reorganisation.

Steve Wightman, general manager of healthcare at The Access Group, said: “We’re excited to be returning as headline sponsors of Digital Health Rewired 2026.

“It’s a brilliant opportunity to connect with NHS digital leaders and explore how innovative technology is empowering staff, enabling neighbourhood care, and driving truly person-centred services.

“We look forward to sharing fresh insights and success stories from across our NHS partnerships that bring these ambitions to life.”

Alongside being a headline sponsor, Optum will sponsor the Digital Transformation Stage, where attendees will hear from national leaders directing investment, senior NHS teams digitising services and innovators developing emerging technologies to support radical change at scale in the face of huge financial and workforce challenges.

Shaun O’Hanlon, chief medical and strategy officer at Optum, said: “At Optum, we’re proud to be one of the headline sponsors of Digital Health Rewired 2026.

“As the NHS continues to navigate the transformation needed to meet the ambitions of the long term plan — from shifting care closer to home, to harnessing data for proactive population health, and integrating services around the patient — digital innovation has never been more critical.

“With deep expertise in healthcare technology and system transformation, we’re committed to supporting the NHS in building a more intelligent, adaptive and connected future.

“Rewired provides a unique space for teams to come together, explore the latest innovations, and share best practice that drives real improvements in outcomes, experience and service efficiency.”

Digital Health Rewired will take place on 24-25 March 2026 at the NEC in Birmingham, connecting healthcare providers and planners, researchers, academics, established industry leaders, suppliers, start-ups and patients interested in how digital tools can improve healthcare.

Jonathan Brotherton, chief executive at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust, and Rachel Power, chief executive at The Patients Association, are the first keynote speakers to have been confirmed for Rewired 2026.

The call for speakers is now open. Registration to attend is free for NHS, public sector, charities and education. Start-up tickets are £149 and commercial suppliers £769. Register here.
