Q Doctor selects Docman Connect for GP correspondence delivery

Online video consultation service Q Doctor has selected Docman Connect to deliver its clinical correspondence electronically.

Q Doctor runs a platform that enables GPs to hold video consultations with patients and work remotely.

The solution from Docman Connect will streamline the service’s document transfer and ensure that Q Doctor can send consultation summaries to GPs within 48 hours, which can be tracked all the way.

Dr Chris Whittle, Founder & CEO, Q doctor said that “Docman Connect offers a more secure and efficient way for secure document exchange to take place than our current email and post.

“We see Docman being a key part of our services as we look to provide more NHS commissioned services in the coming six months, due to its scalability to grow as we do.”

The benefits that the Connect solution provides reduce clinical risk by ensuring that healthcare professionals across providers receive the information they need quickly and securely.

In April, South East Coast Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SECAmb) selected Docman Connect to help with its transfer of electronic clinical correspondence.
