EHealth Insider director Linda Davidson explained: “The idea is to describe and, if possible, demonstrate what you are doing and offer it as an example to create interest, provoke professional debate or inspire action.”
The Best Practice Showcase will form part of the exhibition that will take place alongside the conference at EHI Live 2010, which will run from 8-9 November at the NEC in Birmingham.
As such, sessions will be free to attend and should attract a varied audience of IT experts, vendors, clinicians and others with an interest in healthcare IT.
Organisers are hoping to receive entries from a variety of healthcare settings to guarantee that the Best Practice Showcase will have wide appeal.
Examples of best practice will be welcome from: the NHS; the independent sector; acute, community, primary and mental health care; ambulance and out-of-hours services; and the interface of health and social care.
