Northgate Managed Services has signed a deal with Carefx, the provider of interoperable workflow systems, to distribute its range of products into the UK health and social care market.

Northgate will help to distribute the Fusionfx suite, which aims to streamline and simplify clinical and business workflows and provide health professionals with the information that they need.

Wayne Parslow, European vice president and general manager, EMEA, for Carefx, said: “There is an increasing realisation across health and social care organisations that the way forward for innovative thinking in IT will be through bringing together information from existing systems without having to create new ones.

He added: “Delivering dynamic and personalised patient data to care workers when, where and how they need to see it is proven to both improve patient safety and lower operational cost.

"Our collaboration with Northgate introduces further leadership and innovative thinking into the care sector and we are therefore delighted to announce this partnership with them.”

Northgate Managed Services already works with a number of NHS technology organisations, including developed e-docs UK, G2 Speech, Fairwarning and Lumension.

James Turnbull, managing director of infrastructure solutions, Northgate Managed Services, said: “We are delighted to be working with Carefx, to bring added versatility to our product and service portfolio so that we can continue to offer the Health market solutions which improve business processes and efficiencies.”
