MedeAnalytics has signed contracts with four primary care trusts to deploy its Performance Network service.

NHS Croydon, NHS West Kent, NHS Bath and North East Somerset, and NHS East Sussex Downs and Weald will implement the web-based service to pull together key statistical information into bespoke dashboards and scorecards.

The service, which is delivered by MedeAnalytics in partnership with the Healthcare Financial Management Association, will also allow trusts to select parameters for specific peer groups so they can benchmark and compare their performance.

Paul Fitzsimmons, managing director of MedeAnalytics, said: “Analysing and using this information will enable healthcare organisations to identify areas that require improvement and provides an opportunity to standardise care across each region.

“Access to intuitive data in this way can arm healthcare organisations with powerful information that will greatly assist in tackling inefficiencies in variable practice and support the shift to performance-led decision-making."

As part of the contract, trusts will be invited to attend user forums, workshops and conferences set up by the HFMA to discuss common challenges and share best practice.

Fitzsimmons added: “This latest raft of new clients reinforces how NHS organisations across the country are realising the importance of intelligent informatics that details their current performance and can benchmark that performance against others."
