Applications have now opened for the sixth DigitalHealth.London Launchpad programme, an initiative that is helping to drive innovation in the healthcare sector.

The programme is open to companies in London that are close to the launch stage for their product or service that can help support NHS workers and patients.

Sara Nelson, programme director, DigitalHealth.London, said: “Aligned with the NHS’s Long Term Plan for digital transformation, we have supported a total of 40 early-stage companies in successfully launching their innovations under this initiative. Our alumni have made a significant impact on the health and care industry, catering to demand and achieving improved patient outcomes. I encourage all digital health companies working on solutions to address the current challenges in the NHS to make the most of this opportunity and apply for the programme.”

The Launchpad is part-funded by the UK government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, as well as through DigitalHealth.London partners CW+ and the Office for Life Sciences. Companies who are selected for the programme will be supported with access to knowledge sharing events, designed to help bring their product or service to market.

In addition, the 12-week support includes bespoke 1:1 guidance from DigitalHealth.London consultants plus key founding and strategic partners.

In particular, the DigitalHealth.London Launchpad programme is keen to engage with founders of tomorrow’s innovations who are from diverse backgrounds.

To find out more about the programme there is a DigitalHealth.London Launchpad 101 webinar on Monday 6 November at 12pm.

The Launchpad is not the only accelerator programme from DigitalHealth.London. In July this year it announced its latest cohort of 17 digital health companies who have joined it flagship Accelerator programme.
