Practice Plus Group sites migrate to IMS MAXIMS EPR solution

Practice Plus Group (PPG), a longstanding IMS MAXIMS customer with five sites already using MAXIMS’ Electronic Patient Record (EPR) solution, is implementing the MAXIMS EPR at an additional five sites that had been using a competitor software.

The decision, which followed a strategic review, means all Practice Plus Group hospitals and diagnostic centres are now using the MAXIMS EPR solution.

The migration to MAXIMS EPR will improve functionality, enhance patient care, streamline workflows, and improve overall clinical efficiency, enabling PPG staff to provide the highest quality of care to their patients.

The EPR supplier said it has worked with PPG for over 15 years, developing a strong partnership over that period. It added that the decision to move the remaining PPG sites to MAXIMS “is a testament to the strength of our relationship and the quality of our products and services”.

Southampton Hospital, Gillingham Surgical Centre, Portsmouth Surgical Centre, Barlborough Hospital, and North East London Hospital Ilford have all now been migrated and are now live on MAXIMS EPR.

The project to go live with MAXIMS across the five hospitals simultaneously was a huge undertaking. Close collaboration between IMS MAXIMS and Practice Plus Group has enabled a successful implementation for all.

Mark Hill, business development manager at IMS MAXIMS, said: “We’d like to thank PPG for their continued trust and confidence in us over the years. We’re confident that our partnership will continue to grow and we’re honoured to be a trusted partner in their success.”

In April, Total Specific Solutions (TSS), a global provider of IT business solutions, acquired IMS MAXIMS.
