Siemens opens syngo academy

Siemens Healthcare has opened a dedicated training facility for its syngo clinical imaging solutions, including its advanced 3D routine and reading solution, syngo.via.

The syngo Training Academy, located in the Siemens headquarters in Frimley, Surrey, will run regular courses for syngo customers in the UK and North West Europe.

Siemens already runs an Academy Training and Education Centre to support its laboratory diagnostic customers.

The academy will extend what this offers to include imaging applications. The training on offer will include networking images across modalities and efficient and structured workflows.

Ronan Kirby, syngo business manager at Siemens Healthcare, said: “The courses will ensure that our installed base has easy and cost-effective access to specialist training without the need for international travel.

“Our ongoing goal is to extend and enhance our customers’ knowledge of their syngo applications, which will lead to greater workflow benefits and stronger diagnostic confidence in the hospital environment.”
