CompuGroup reports strong Q1 results

German eHealth integration company CompuGroup has announced strong first quarter results, with revenues growing to Euro 41.7m – an increase of 39% on the previous year.

The company cited strong organic growth in the health connectivity services sector, as well as by the two most recent major acquisitions.

"The successful first quarter 2007 shows the power of CompuGroup´s business strategy. We rapidly develop the huge market potential of connectivity solutions for the healthcare sector, based on our unique doctors customer base," said Frank Gotthardt, CEO of CompuGROUP Holding AG.

CompuGROUP says that its products and software which – include systems to improve communication, secure documentation, and expert systems – are used by over 250,000 healthcare professionals across Europe.

More than 50 subsidiaries in nine countries operate under the CompuGroup Holding AG umbrella and the company employs approximately 1,500 people.
