The day has finally arrived – it’s the Digital Health Rewired Leadership Summit.

Throughout the day the Digital Health News team will be reporting on the themes and concerns raised by the NHS IT community.

Sessions to look out for in the programme include a keynote from national CCIO, Dr Simon Eccles, who will be speaking about his first year in the high-profile role.

There is also an international keynote from Professor Vasco Antunes Pereira, CEO, Lusiadas Saúde.

In his session, Prof Antunes will be providing a European perspective on achieving the highest levels of digital maturity.

Aside from keynotes there are also some interesting discussions being held.

This includes the likes of, Rt Hon George Freeman, chair of the Conservative Policy Forum and former Minister for Life Sciences, and former NHS Digital CEO, Andy Williams and Beverley Bryant, COO, System C & Graphnet, looking at the last three decades of NHS digitalisation.

There’s also a discussion, chaired by Andy Kinnear which looks into the question of whether we need digital leaders on every NHS board.

As well as publishing news stories, the team will be tweeting across the day as well.
