Smart networks and the Internet of Things (IoT) are the just some of the topics which are up for discussion over on the Smart Health Stage at Digital Health Rewired 2022.

The stage will explore such networks and technology which help support the essential foundations for digital health and care. Day two will feature a particular focus on cyber security.

Highlights of the programme include Andy Callow, group chief digital information officer at University Hospitals of Northamptonshire and Samantha Robinson, interim associate director for live services at NHS Digital.

Also featuring on the programme is Dr Saroj Patel, chief digital and innovation officer at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Trust, who recently spoke to Digital Health News about why the trust looked towards a small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) to design and implement a brand new single sign-on and patient context solution.

Health informatics company, Alcidion is the confirmed sponsor of day one of the Smart Health Stage.

Taking place on March 15-16 at the Business Design Centre in London, Digital Health Rewired 2022 is a conference and exhibition which brings together all parts of the digital health community to celebrate the best of digital, data and innovation in health and care.

Health and care professionals will be able to network, collaborate and learn in person during two days of educational conference sessions, exhibitions and meetings, all focused on sharing best practice and innovation.

All the conference sessions will be CPD accredited.

Also taking place will be the Pitchfest competition, which returns for its fourth year. The competition will see another 16 digital health start-ups battle it out to the live final to win an NHS test bed site for their idea or solution.
