💼 New recruitment software from Oleeo is being adopted by Somerset NHS Foundation Trust to help streamline processes, address equality, diversity and inclusion and improve the experience for both managers and candidates. The trust plans to go live with the new recruitment, applicant management and reporting software in May. The software will enable the trust to speed up recruitment by automating aspects of the process. In addition, dashboards will give visibility to managers and candidates over what responses or checks are still needed.

🥽 Osso Health has been launched by Osso VR, a medical training app for Apple Vision Pro. The app blends digital content with the physical world to bring to life the operating experience, with detailed, clinically accurate workflows of common procedures. Osso Health currently allows users to engage with surgical workflows for carpal tunnel release procedures and total knee replacements.

🤝 Bayer and Google Cloud have announced a collaboration to develop AI solutions to support radiologists. The partnership will see Bayer further develop its innovation platform to speed up the development and deployment of AI-powered healthcare applications for radiology. It will use Google Cloud’s technology, including GenAI tools.

💰 HealthSage AI, less than a year after its inception, has announced a €3m seed investment to enhance and scale its open generative AI platform fully dedicated to healthcare. This platform will offer a trusted and transparent foundation for the development and adoption of AI applications for healthcare, including HealthSage AI’s own LLM Note-to-FHIR. 

🧠 NHS Wales’ online mental health support service has hit 30,000 referrals since piloting six years ago. The free service – powered by digital mental health platform SilverCloud – was successfully trialled in Powys in May 2018 and expanded across Wales three years later in response to the Covid pandemic.
