⛅Tata Consultancy Services, a supplier of IT, consulting, and business services, has been selected by NHS Supply Chain for application development support and maintenance of its core business systems and cloud infrastructure platforms. Matthew Wynn, executive director for data and technology, NHS Supply Chain, said: “This shift will strengthen our resilience, improve user experience, and enable us to respond faster to changing business and customer needs.”
💉A digital education platform supporting children and young people with Type 1 diabetes has been rolled out across all 14 NHS Scotland health boards. The DigiBete app, which provides age-appropriate resources and guidance for children, young people and families, is now being used by more than 3,000 people in Scotland.
💽Better, a provider of open digital health platforms, has been named a leader in the International Data Corporation (IDC) MarketScape: Europe, Middle East, and Africa Healthcare Data Platforms for Providers 2025 Vendor Assessment. According to the IDC MarketScape, “Better’s emphasis on data control, interoperability, and clinician-friendly application development positions it as a high-impact innovator in Europe’s healthcare digital transformation efforts.”
👩⚕️A company building an AI companion for nurses has raised $50 million in Series A funding. The investment aims to accelerate voize’s expansion in Europe and entry into the US. The AI listens as nurses speak during care, understands their notes, and handles admin such as documentation and scheduling in real time.
👩🦰Life Analytics has announced the launch of Facial Dynamics, a digital platform designed to aid facial rehabilitation through augmented reality and remote monitoring. Developed in collaboration with clinicians and academics across the UK, Facial Dynamics provides stroke and tremor patients with access to neurorehabilitation from their home via a smartphone or tablet.
🤰Pregnancy and postnatal wellbeing app Carea has launched the Postpartum Mum Tracker tool to support the one in five new mothers who face post-birth mental health struggles. The tracker offers a daily check-in system for new mums that monitors everything from incision healing, breast health, sleep and energy, through to mental wellbeing, such as anxiety, feeling overwhelmed, and bonding struggles.

More than a third (36%) of UK adults would be willing to pay slightly higher taxes if they could choose where they were allocated – and the NHS tops the list.
The research, commissioned by digital health firm DrDoctor, reveals that of those willing to pay higher taxes if they could choose where it would be allocated. The NHS was the most popular sector for funding allocation: With 39% wanting to see their taxes spent here. The second most popular sector for funding allocation was social care and welfare (11%).
Housing (9%), education (8%), and social security including universal credit and pensions (8%) ranked in 3rd, 4th, and 5th place respectively. However, nearly half of patients (48%) who have missed a hospital appointment in the past two years believe that the NHS is wasting resources staffing appointments that never happen.

The report, which has input from charities including Sue Ryder, Prostate Cancer UK, Macmillan Cancer Support, and Diabetes UK, outlines how time pressure, system complexity and information overload make engagement difficult.
It lays out three ‘pillars’ for effective engagement – cultivate relationships, clear the path, and convene and collaborate – that cover ways to connect, develop and deepen understanding, ways to smooth transformation and impact, and methods for bringing people together to partner and co-design.
