Ardentia, who are supplying the data reporting software to BT Syntegra for implementation of the NHS Care Records Service, have been named as one of the fastest growing technology companies in the Midlands after their revenue grew a reported 248% over five years. The company, based in Stafford, signed a nine-year £9m deal with BT Syntegra earlier this year to supply user interface and reporting software for the Care Records Service. It also supplies several kinds of thin-client based database querying and management software to the public and private sector. The Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Awards recognise business growth in technology companies both regionally and internationally. Ardentia came 23rd in the list of winners. CEO of Ardentia, Tom Mulhern, said: “We attribute our 248% revenue growth to the creativity and quality of our people and sheer hard work." As well as developing infrastructure for the CRS, Ardentia also supply reporting and data quality analysis systems for the NHS Wide Clearing Service, which supplies data from PCTs and trusts to support the NHSIA in performance management and service planning.
