iPLATO Healthcare has launched myGP web, which has been developed specifically to work on all tablet and smartphones. Hospedia teams up on disability solutions

Hospedia has worked with AbleNet Inc and Lifetool Solutions to integrate their disability solutions with the Hospedia patient entertainment platform. This enables patients with severe disabilities to control and access the Hospedia Patient Centred Care Platform via the Ablenet TrackerPRO and the LIFEtool Solutions IntegraMouse. The TrackerPro is a plug-and-play, high-resolution intelligent camera that emulates a mouse using the movements from a small dot placed on a person’s forehead. With IntegraMouse Plus, patients can operate the Hospedia Bedside Terminal solely by mouth.

Siemens launches syngo.via Frontier

Siemens Healthcare has launched syngo.via Frontier, for CT clinical imaging research. The system provides direct access to new research prototypes, delivers the means for individual prototype development and enables users to obtain access to an international online community and share experiences with fellow researchers. This paves the way for hospitals and research facilities in the UK to evaluate a greater number of new CT techniques and contribute to international scientific discussion. It can also be used for the development and testing of MR prototypes.
