Staffordshire County Council is adopting System C’s social care platform for adult and children’s case management.
The implementation of Liquidlogic Adult Case Management and Liquidlogic Children’s Case Management, is intended to integrate thousands of existing records, enhance on-the-ground delivery, and streamline care management for vulnerable people.
Following the data migration of existing records, the children’s case management system is planned to go live in October 2026, followed by adults case management in March 2027.
Martin Rogerson, cabinet member for health and care at Staffordshire County Council, said: “This investment in modernising our adult and social care systems reflects our commitment to delivering high-quality care to the most vulnerable people in Staffordshire.
“The new platform will enable our teams to work more collaboratively, reduce administrative burdens and ensure that residents receive the right support at the right time.”
Liquidlogic is hoped to drive greater efficiency, enable effective case management, and empower social workers and care providers working with Staffordshire County Council.
The system can be adapted to meet a local authorities’ social care and educational needs and provide financial transparency.
Amrik Johal, managing director for social care and education at System C, said: “We’re delighted to be working with Staffordshire County Council to deliver a fully integrated case management solution across both adult and children’s social care.
“By joining up digital services, we’re helping frontline teams work more efficiently, make better-informed decisions, and ultimately improve outcomes for the people they support.”
Meanwhile, in August, Digital Health News reported that Torbay Council extended its partnership with System C to implement its adult social care case management and finance system across Devon from 2026.
It will integrate Liquidlogic adult case management with the council’s existing Liquidlogic children’s social care case management system, creating a unified platform to manage both adult and children’s social care records.
The government announced last week that 80% of care providers have replaced paper-based processes with digital social care records, under the Digitising Social Care programme.
It aims for all adult social care providers registered with the Care Quality Commission to have access to a digital social care record that can interoperate with a local shared care record by the end of Parliament.
