A further three NHS chief executives have been confirmed as Digital Health Rewired 2026 speakers, offering attendees more views from the board-level leaders overseeing local digital investment.
With three NHS CEOs previously announced, attendees can now get a taste from inside the boardroom of six NHS trusts, each with their own levels of digital maturity, priorities and resources.
Dr Simon Constable, chief executive at University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust, and Raghuv Bhasin, chief executive at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust, will join an unmissable keynote session on the Digital Leadership Stage exploring the strategies and approaches for engaging with your CEO.
The all-CEO panel session is completed by previously announced keynote Jonathan Brotherton of University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust. The trio will share how NHS boards are viewing digital in 2026 and tips for digital leaders in managing up.
Dr Nnenna Osuji, chief executive at North Middlesex University Hospital NHS Trust, will participate in a session exploring system challenges for patient data.
Joined by colleagues from UCL Partners and University College London Hospital Biomedical Research Centre, Dr Osuji will provide her executive view on ensuring system integrity, embedding ethical safeguards and how AI is being rolled out into pathways to support preventative care.
Professor Andy Hardy, chief executive at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust who was confirmed to join the programme in November 2025, will discuss the aspirations, challenges and progress of making one of the largest tertiary acute trusts in the country ‘data-led, operationally delivered’.
Hardy is joined by former NHSX AI lead Dr Indra Joshi, chief development officer at Optum, and leader leaders from primary and acute care exploring the ambitions for digital to reduce elective care recovery and improve patient experience.
Day one Digital Transformation Stage keynote Siobhan Harrington, chief executive at University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust, will present with Beverley Bryant, a nationally recognised NHS chief digital officer for Dorset Providers on leading digital transformation.
The Rewired programme went live last month featuring 300 speakers, including some of the most senior leaders in health IT, such as Dr Alec Price-Forbes, national chief clinical information officer at NHS England, and Helen Balsdon, national chief nursing information officer at NHS England.
The Access Group and Optum are co-headline sponsors for Rewired26 and will also sponsor the Digital Transformation and Integrated Care stages respectively.
Other stages include the Digital Frontline Stage, sponsored by PwC, Cyber and Infrastructure Stage, sponsored by Cisco, Digital Leadership Stage sponsored by BT, and EPR Implementation and Optimisation Stage sponsored by Altera Digital Health.
Digital Health Rewired 2026 takes place on 24-25 March at The NEC Birmingham. NHS, public sector, charities, research and education can attend for free. Commercial tickets start from £769+VAT.
