Lincor tops Deloitte’s Irish technology awards

Irish company Lincor Solutions, a provider of bedside patient entertainment and clinical access systems, has been named number one in the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 awards.

The rankings of the 50 fastest growing technology companies in Ireland are based on average percentage revenue growth over five years.

Over the five-year period measured Lincor grew 3,145%, based on 10,000 systems installed at over 45 hospitals in 14 countries.

Lincor’s CEO, Richard Cooke, said, "Patients now expect multimedia entertainment at the hospital bedside and clinical staff need access to medical records and information. We are proud that Lincor Solutions is now the recognised world leader in this very fast growing market.”

He added: "We are at the forefront of 21st century patient care, delivering improved staff efficiency and patient safety to hospitals, and communication, entertainment and education services to patients."

Lincor was founded in 2003 and is installed in hospitals across Europe and North America. The largest markets for the company are currently France, UK and Benelux.

Current partners and hospital clients include IBM, GE Healthcare, KPN Telecom, HCA HealthCare, Generale de Sante Group and France Telecom.

Lincor has recently opened a sales office in Toronto to service the market in Canada and USA.
