Digital Health will this autumn launch an exciting new conference and exhibition dedicated to exploring latest developments in the use of AI, data science and analytics across health and care.

AI & Data is about exploring the multi-faceted data-driven digital health revolution that is fast re-shaping health and care.

AI & Data is for everyone interested in current and future use of AI and data to enable new delivery models; deliver improved health outcomes for citizens; contribute applied health research and data science; power new start-ups; and gain actionable insight into the quality, performance and safety of services.

The event is for all health professionals, clinicians, digital leaders, analysts, data scientists, researchers, AI and data start-ups, policy makers, citizens, and patients with an interest in how AI and data tools can improve UK health care.

The conference programme will include a mix of NHS case studies spanning AI, data, and analytics, together with key health data research initiatives linking NHS organisations, universities, research bodies and life sciences companies.

AI & Data will also include a dedicated stage to showcase the best digital health start-ups from Digital Health’s annual Pitchfest competition, who are using AI tools and data to disrupt health and care.

Jon Hoeksma, CEO of Digital Health, said: “The digitisation of healthcare is now creating vast amounts of rich data, already providing huge benefits to patients, researchers and health professionals. At the same time, we are seeing a step-change in the capability of AI, analytics and data science.

“AI and data had already become one of the most popular stages of our annual Digital Health Rewired show. AI & Data is about creating a highly accessible dedicated new event that will enable the audience to explore these fast-evolving areas much more fully.”

The AI & Data conference and exhibition will run Monday-Tuesday, 30-31 October at the Business Design Centre, London.

Showcasing innovators

The event will have two dedicated conference stages, one dedicated to AI and Analytics and the other to Data and Research, together with an AI start-up stage on the show-floor.

“Over the past four years of running the Pitchfest competition we have met hundreds of great digital health start-ups, many of them doing amazing things with AI and Data. A key aim of AI & Data will be to showcase these innovators,” said Hoeksma.

All conference sessions will be CPD certified, with dedicated educational and training sessions delivered at the event.

And to help attendees, exhibitors and presenters network and continue discussions, a special ‘spooky’ Halloween AI & Data event will run on the middle night.

Registration to AI & Data is now open and free to NHS, public sector, patients and carers, researchers, students, and start-ups, and charged for suppliers not exhibiting at the event.
