Talk of the latest national policy and digital investment priorities is set to drive the discussion on the National Policy and Keynote Stage at Digital Health Rewired 2023.

The stage is the home of must-see keynote sessions, where you can catch national and local leaders sharing the latest policy and investment updates, with subjects covering lessons from the pandemic, NHS recovery, the Health and Care Act 2022, data strategy and integrated care.

Programme highlights include a keynote address on day two from Dr Tim Ferris, national director of transformation at NHS England, who will explore how the NHS should most effectively scale and accelerate digital transformation to benefit patients and staff.

He will be joined in the session by Markus Bolton, executive director at Graphnet Health, and Professor Jane Eddlestone, joint group medical director at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust.

On day one, the keynote speakers are Saffron Cordery, interim chief executive at NHS Providers, Dame Ruth May, chief nursing officer for England, Rt Hon Patricia Hewitt, chair of the NHS Norfolk & Waveney Integrated Care Board, and Professor Vin Diwakar, medical director national transformation and medical directorates at NHS England.

This keynote session will be a national policy overview, looking at the role of digital in helping the NHS achieve the ambitions of the NHS Plan while also responding to unprecedented demand.

Away from keynote speakers, another exciting session on the National Policy and Keynote Stage will be on The Hive programme at Manchester Hospital Foundation Trust. In what has been the largest hospital digitalisation project in Europe, the clinical and exec leaders behind HIVE will share key lessons from the programme.

The System C and Graphnet Care Alliance, co-headline sponsors of Digital Health Rewired 2023, are also the confirmed sponsors of the National Policy and Keynote Stage.

Guy Lucchi, managing director healthcare at System C, said: “The System C and Graphnet Care Alliance is proud to be sponsoring the National Policy and Keynote Stage at Rewired this year.

“Some of the country’s most influential and innovative health tech leaders will be sharing their thoughts on a wide range of topics, from population health management, and addressing health inequalities, to the importance of convergence, and how we achieve it across ICSs.

“The pace of digital transformation over the past few years has been unprecedented, driven largely by increasing pressure on our healthcare systems. It will be incredibly interesting and valuable to hear from some of the people that are right at the forefront of national strategy.”

Taking place on March 14-15 at the Business Design Centre in London, Digital Health Rewired 2023 is a conference and exhibition that brings together all parts of the digital health community to celebrate the best of digital, data and innovation in health and care.

Health and care professionals will be able to network, collaborate and learn in person during two days of educational conference sessions, exhibitions, and meetings, all focused on sharing best practice and innovation.

All the conference sessions will be CPD accredited.

Returning for its fifth year is the Pitchfest competition, which will be split into two categories for 2023. The competition will see 23 shortlisted candidates battle it out, with the best start-up winning an NHS test bed for their idea or solution.
