Sherwood Forest selects Nervecentre as preferred EPR supplier

Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust has selected Nervecentre as its preferred supplier to implement an electronic patient record (EPR).
The announcement is the next step of the plan to introduce EPRs at Sherwood Forest Hospitals over the next two years, with the aim of enabling the trust to have a single, connected record.

The EPR system from Nervecentre was chosen following a selection process supported by NHSE and the next step is to submit the full business case for national approval and to secure funding from NHSE, with a decision expected later this year.
Work to partially introduce the Nervecentre product is due to begin in autumn 2025 in the trust’s urgent and emergency care services.

The trust is now able to build on its partnership with Nervecentre, which has supported patient monitoring in several departments at Sherwood since 2017.
Meanwhile, Northampton General Hospital NHS Trust announced that it will go live date with its Nervecentre EPR system on 28 June 2025.
The trust selected Nervecentre as its preferred supplier in December 2023 before signing a 10-year contract in July 2024 to implement the EPR system.
East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust has also signed a 10-year contract with Nervecentre to implement its EPR system, which began roll out in May 2025.
