The Digital Responses to Covid-19 Briefing and Q&A Webinars, each week features senior leaders from NHSX, NHS Digital and other agencies leading nationally on digital responses to the Covid-19 public health emergency.
On 14 April we are delighted to welcome back Sarah Wilkinson, CEO NHS Digital, who will update on the key programmes of work being carried out by the main NHS agency helping the NHS digitally respond to and manage Covid-19.
The webinar comes just five-weeks on from Sarah’s keynote presentation at Digital Health Rewired, 4 March, in which she shared a snapshot of how NHS Digital teams were beginning to respond to the emergency across multiple channels and initiatives, including coping with surging demand for NHS 111.
The past five weeks have been the most challenging and demanding the NHS has ever known, and seen a range of digital initiatives dramatically accelerated to help the NHS respond. Sarah has kindly agreed to brief attendees on latest developments, outline what’s coming next and answer your questions.
The weekly Covid-19 briefing and Q&A webinars provide a unique opportunity for local NHS IT leaders to directly put their questions to national leaders, share local experiences and identify current obstacles and blockers.
Members of Digital Health Networks can put their questions to the panelists on the Networks’ online community https://discourse.digitalhealth.net/ in advance of the webinars or post them live during the webinar. The questions, suggestions and responses on each session will be collated and shared back with the Network and national presenters.

HI I am coming to the end of my two week self isolation period after developing covid19 symptoms on Sunday 29th MARCH.
My symptoms have not worsened but I am not really feeling well enough
to return to work. I know the cough can remain for a while but i still keep getting hot flushes that leave my skin with a prickling sensation, headaches and the other symptoms you experience with the flu.
I do suffer with fibromyalgia and symptoms of this are very similar to those i have been having and still have so i am thinking my recovery is taking longer because of having this condition too.
I am intending to send in a self certification sick note for another week to ensure I am truly back on my feet, I am regarded as a key worker as i work in the laundry of a residential home. I also live with my 17 your old who is on the vulnerable list.
Is it advisable for me for me to take this extra week in self isolation
